Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of knowledge, understanding and skills, and the development of personal qualities necessary for the execution of professional duties throughout the individual's working life.
Who needs CPD?
Globally CPD is expected for all professionals in their professional Career. Employers are increasingly expect their staff to undertake CPD through regular online courses, conferences and trainings from an International CPD Accredited Member which increases the Quality Standard of an organisation.
Formal CPD should be a form of structured learning that has clear learning objectives and outcomes, such as International Conferences, Professional courses, Structured online training, technical authorship and any learning that includes an assessment measure.
International CPD Accreditation are assessed against our International Guidelines and Framework.
International CPD Accreditation can be verified online and all CPD activities are recorded with demonstration of learning outcomes together with supporting documentation. All CPD activities can be stored in My CPD Diary Portal and can be downloaded as report.
